AbstractThis unit presents protocols for examining the functional effects elicited by nonspecific acid or alkaline phosphatases that dephosphorylate many phosphoproteins in vitro. Additional protocols describe digestion of phosphoproteins with a protein serine/threonine phosphatase and protein tyrosine phosphatase.
