Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

This study demonstrates a monolithic perovskite OELG device that performs all eight logic operations, including XOR and XNOR, without external bias. Enabled by trap‐engineered MAPbI3:PLL and dual photogates, it achieves reconfigurable logic and parallel decoding of amplitude–frequency signals, supporting scenario‐configured logic‐level separation for ...

Stable P‐Type PbS Quantum Dot Ink for all‐Blade‐Coated Short‐Wavelength Infrared Photodiodes
Stabilization of p‐type PbS quantum dot ink is achieved through hydrogen bonding between fluorinated alcohols solvent and the MP ligand, allowing a six‐day shelf‐life. The solvent does not compromise pre‐deposited layers, enabling fully blade‐coated photodiodes in both n–p and p–n architectures, with enhanced detectivity and bandwidth compared to layer‐

High electrical conductivity in a monolayer of a well‐ordered, epitaxially connected quantum dot superlattice enables the demonstration of a photodetector with high responsivity and detectivity, as well as faster response. Although epitaxially connected, these quantum dot superlattices have some of their quantum confinement natures preserved, as ...

Si‐Based GeSn Lateral p–i–n Waveguide Photodetectors Covering Entire Short‐Wave Infrared Band
This work introduces a complementary metal‐oxide‐semiconductor (CMOS)‐compatible GeSn lateral p–i–n waveguide photodetector monolithically integrated on a silicon platform. Enabled by a high‐quality, and high‐Sn‐content GeSn active layer, the developed GeSn photodetector achieves photodetection covering the entire short‐wave infrared band for ...

Imperfection in Semiconductors Leading to High Performance Devices
Crystalline perfection is typically pursued in semiconductors to enhance device performance. However, through modeling and experimental work, we show that defects can be strategically employed in a specific detection regime to increase sensitivity to extreme values. GaN diodes are demonstrated to effectively detect high‐energy proton beams at fluxes as
