Quantum properties of a which-way detector [PDF]
We explore quantum properties of a which-way detector using three versions of an idealized two slit arrangements. Firstly we derive complementarity relations for the detector; secondly we show how the "experiment" may be altered in such a way that using single position measurement on the screen we can obtain quantum erasure.

Characterization of the first true coaxial 18-fold segmented n-type prototype detector for the GERDA project [PDF]
The first true coaxial 18-fold segmented n-type HPGe prototype detector produced by Canberra-France for the GERDA neutrinoless double beta-decay project was tested both at Canberra-France and at the Max-Planck-Institut fuer Physik in Munich.

Detector properties of Cd0,9Zn0,1Te:Al under the influence of low doze gamma irradiation
Clarification of the influence of defects on detecting properties of CdZnTe detectors and understanding of the behavior of defects under the influence of aggressive radiation environment are very important to improve detector performance.

Electrical Properties of Ultra-Fast 3D-Trench Electrode Silicon Detector
In our previous work on ultra-fast silicon detectors, extremely small carrier drift times of 50–100 picoseconds were predicted for electrode spacing of 5–10 μm.

Quadratic Quantum Measurements [PDF]
We develop a theory of quadratic quantum measurements by a mesoscopic detector. It is shown that quadratic measurements should have non-trivial quantum information properties, providing, for instance, a simple way of entangling two non-interacting qubits.

Properties of GaAs:Cr-based Timepix detectors [PDF]
It is the hybrid pixel detector technology which brought to the X-ray imaging a low noise level at a high spatial resolution, thanks to the single photon counting. However, silicon as the most widespread detector material is marginally sensitive to photons with energy more than 30 keV.

Principles of wide bandwidth acoustic detectors and the single-mass DUAL detector [PDF]
We apply the standard theory of the elastic body to obtain a set of equations describing the behavior of an acoustic Gravitational Wave detector, fully taking into account the 3-dimensional properties of the mass, the readout and the signal. We show that

Study the electrical properties of ZnOSiO2 detector prepared by free rappid thermal oxidation
Zinc thin films deposited on (n-type)silicon at 510o C with oxidation times (10,20,30,35) sec have been oxidized. Zinc have been deposited by thermal diffusion method using heater instead of conventional furnace .It is found that we can get zinc oxide ...

Transport and current noise characteristics of a T-shape double quantum dot system [PDF]
We consider the transport and the noise characteristics for the case of a T-shape double quantum dot system using the equation of motion method. Our theoretical results, obtained in an approximation equivalent to the Hartree-Fock approximation, account ...
