Measurement of the cross-section for W boson production in association with b-jets in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector [PDF]
This paper reports a measurement of the W +b-jets (W +b+ X and W + bb¯ +X) production cross-section in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV at the LHC. These results are based on data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.

ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

ABSTRACT Claudin‐6 has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic target, yet protein‐level data in atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (AT/RTs) have been inconsistent. We analyzed 36 well‐characterized AT/RT samples and found membranous claudin‐6 protein expression in 58% of cases, with striking enrichment in the molecular subgroup AT/RT‐TYR (100%) and ...

The FASER detector: from concept to operation
FASER is a new experiment placed 480 meters downstream of the ATLAS interaction point at the LHC. FASER is designed to discover light and very weakly-interacting particles such as dark photons that are produced in the far-forward region of the LHC ...

Inclusive Jet Cross Sections in Proton-Proton Collisions at 7.0 TeV Center-of-Mass Energy with the ATLAS Detector at the Large Hadron Collider [PDF]
Inclusive jet cross sections are measured using the full 2010 ATLAS data set, corresponding to approximately 37 pb-1 of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV provided by the Large Hadron Collider. The cross sections are dened using

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Scale-space properties of quadratic feature detectors [PDF]
We consider the scale-space properties of quadratic feature detectors and, in particular, investigate whether, like linear detectors, they permit a scale selection scheme with the "causality property", which guarantees that features are never created as the scale is coarsened.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
