Smith Normal Form of a Multivariate Matrix Associated with Partitions [PDF]
Consideration of a question of E. R. Berlekamp led Carlitz, Roselle, and Scoville to give a combinatorial interpretation of the entries of certain matrices of determinant~1 in terms of lattice paths.

Form factors of integrable Heisenberg (higher) spin chains [PDF]
We present determinant formulae for the form factors of spin operators of general integrable XXX Heisenberg spin chains for arbitrary (finite dimensional) spin representations. The results apply to any "mixed" spin chains, such as alternating spin chains,

The determinant representation for quantum correlation functions of the sinh-Gordon model [PDF]
We consider the quantum sinh-Gordon model in this paper. Using known formulae for form factors we sum up all their contributions and obtain a closed expression for a correlation function. This expression is a determinant of an integral operator.

Umbral Interpolation: A Survey
A survey on recent umbral polynomial interpolation is presented. Some new results are given, following a matrix-determinant approach. Some theoretical and numerical examples are provided.

Explicit boundary form factors: The scaling Lee–Yang model
We provide explicit expressions for boundary form factors in the boundary scaling Lee–Yang model for operators with the mildest ultraviolet behavior for all integrable boundary conditions. The form factors of the boundary stress tensor take a determinant

Crossing bridges with strong Szegő limit theorem
We develop a new technique for computing a class of four-point correlation functions of heavy half-BPS operators in planar N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM theory which admit factorization into a product of two octagon form factors with an arbitrary bridge ...

Applications of Modified Sigmoid Functions to a Class of Starlike Functions
The main focus of this investigation is the applications of modified sigmoid functions. Due to its various uses in physics, engineering, and computer science, we discuss several geometric properties like necessary and sufficient conditions in the form of

One-Loop Determinant of Dirac Operator in Non-Renormalizable Models [PDF]
We use proper-time regularizations to define the one-loop fermion determinant in the form suggested by Gasser and Leutwyler some years ago. We show how to obtain the polynomial by which this definition of ln det D needs to be modified in order to arrive ...

Determinant grammar of the Russian language as an academic grammar of a new type
The relevance of the research is caused by the need to find a method that provides a complete and systematic presentation of Russian grammar. The aim of the study is to discuss the prospects for creating a grammar that will clarify the reasons for the ...
