ABSTRACT Previous studies of teleconnection (TC) impacts on Terrestrial Water Storage Anomalies (TWSA) rarely focus on Vietnam or on the nonstationary nature of TC–TWSA relationships. This study addresses these gaps by examining both stationary and nonstationary TC influences on TWSA using correlation analysis (Pearson and cross‐spectral methods) and ...

Diversity and Dispersal of Fungi Along a Subtropical Land‐to‐Sea Continuum
This study investigates the marine mycobiome by integrating cross‐habitat sampling with a long‐read amplicon sequencing approach. The results provide novel insights into the largely unexplored fungal diversity in coastal ecosystems and highlight the role of dispersal, evidenced by the detection of transported terrestrial fungal taxa.

A century of theories of balancing selection
ABSTRACT Traits that affect organismal fitness are often highly genetically variable. This genetic variation is vital for populations to adapt to their environments, but it is also surprising given that nature – after all – ‘selects’ the best genotypes at the expense of those that fall short.

Mist‐net sampling comprises a key methodological component of assemblage‐wide avifaunal studies, particularly in the understorey of closed‐canopy tropical forests. To investigate mist‐net bird captures and species assemblage structure, we compiled data from 312 sites across the Pan‐Amazon.
