Synthesis and characterization of 2-amino-4,5-bis(tetrazol-5-yl)-1,2,3-triazole: A high-nitrogen energetic material with low sensitivities and high thermal stability

open access: yesEnergetic Materials Frontiers, 2023
In this study, a high-nitrogen insensitive energetic material, 2-amino-4,5-bis(tetrazole-5-yl)-1,2,3-triazole (H2ABTT), was successfully synthesized by introducing the N-amino group on the 1,2,3-triazole ring.

THEORETICAL STUDIES ON DIACETONEDIPEROXIDE DERIVATIVES AND COMPARISONS WITH OTHER MULTI-PEROXIDIC COMPOUNDS [PDF]

open access: yesQuímica Nova
Diacetonediperoxide (DADP) derivatives were investigated with density functional theory (DFT) methods at the DFT-B3LYP and M06-2X/6-311++G (d, p) levels and were also compared with other multi-peroxidic compounds.

Experimental Proof of Concept of a Noncircular Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE) for Propulsion Applications

open access: yesAerospace, 2022
A noncircular engine cross-section could provide great flexibility in the integration of propulsion into the airframe. In this work, a tri-arc RDE was constructed and tested as an example of noncircular cross-sectioned RDE.

A Dual‐Functional Electrolyte Additive for Highly Reversible Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study introduces tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) as a dual‐function additive for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. TBAB disrupts the hydrogen‐bond network of water while TBA+ adsorbs on Zn to improve interfacial wettability and regulate Zn2+ flux, resulting in suppressed dendrite growth and parasitic reactions. This synergy extended the lifespan of Zn|
