Intraperitoneal Contraceptive Device Removal Via Colpotomy
Military Medicine, 1971One complication of intrauterine contraceptive methods is uterine perforation with a resultant intraperitoneal contraceptive device. Most of these are removed by laparotomy. The 2 case reports presented here suggest that the device could be removed successfully in most cases by colpotomy which has few postoperative complications a short hospital stay
