A review on devulcanization of waste tire rubber
Rubber has become an indispensable material for the technological development of civilization, including simple balloon and complex rocket propellant. Rubber Industry worldwide is using on an average 50% of raw materials. These materials were mostly petroleum-based, except natural rubber (NR), steel cord and bead wire.

Devulcanization of waste tire rubber by microwaves
The disposal of solid residues is an enormous problem, especially in the case of vulcanized rubbers like tires. The old practice of landfilling is out of use due to the rising land costs, environmental concerns, fire risks and the possibility of proliferation of mosquitoes and other disease-carrying vectors.
