The mark of the dispositional: Broad, Ramsey and Wittgenstein

open access: yesPhilosophical Investigations, Volume 49, Issue 2, Page 212-235, April 2026.
Abstract This paper reconstructs a trajectory of theoretical influence on the concept of disposition among C.D. Broad, F.P. Ramsey and L. Wittgenstein. The central thesis is that the form of dispositionalism Wittgenstein criticizes in his post‐Tractarian philosophy—particularly in relation to belief, meaning and understanding—corresponds closely to the

Aesthetic Revolution: How Art Shapes Social Worlds

open access: yesSocial and Personality Psychology Compass, Volume 20, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Art inhabits the imagination, but can it influence real‐world issues? While some scholars cast art as autonomous from moral and civic life, others see it as deeply entangled with the social world. We address this debate by synthesizing evidence on art's social influence across literature, music, visual art, and film.

Dual Role of a Subducted Seamount in Megathrust Rupture Initiation and Rupture Barrier

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 5, 16 March 2026.
Abstract Using high‐resolution 3D tomography and a relocated 2010–2022 earthquake catalog, we identify a seamount at 20–25 km depth beneath the Mompiche–Cojimíes region in the coastal forearc of Ecuador. This provides a rare, well‐resolved example of seamount preservation at these depths. The seamount coincides with a low interseismic‐coupling corridor

Genetic variability, association, and path coefficient analysis for yield and yield‐related traits of quality protein maize genotypes

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Maize (Zea mays L.) is among the most importantcereal crops worldwide, serving as a major source of food, feed, and industrial raw material. Estimation of genetic parameters, trait associations, and the direct and indirect contributions of agronomic traits to grain yield is fundamental for effective quality protein maize improvement.

Genetic variability and associations among yield and yield‐related traits in Ethiopian linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) landraces

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) is a key oilseed crop in Ethiopia's central highlands. However, its productivity is constrained by the limited availability of high‐yielding varieties, highlighting the importance of investigating genetic variability and trait associations among local landraces.
