Tocilizumab Dosing for Management of T Cell‐Engaging Bispecific Antibody‐Related CRS in Patients With R/R B‐Cell NHL

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.
Tocilizumab dosing for management of T cell‐engaging bispecific antibody‐related CRS in patients with R/R B‐cell NHL. The recent surge in T‐cell‐engaging and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapies is changing the landscape of cancer therapy.

Rodent monocyte‐derived macrophages do not express CD163: Comparative analysis using macrophages from living boreoeutherians

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background CD163 is a scavenger receptor predominantly expressed on the surfaces of macrophages in various mammalian species and is a marker of anti‐inflammatory (M2‐like) macrophages. High density of CD163‐positive tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) is associated with worse prognosis in various patient tumors.

Inconsistent Transcriptomic Responses to Hexabromocyclododecane in Japanese Quail: A Comparative Analysis of Results From Four Different Study Designs

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology and Chemistry, EarlyView.
Abstract Efforts to use transcriptomics for toxicity testing have classically relied on the assumption that chemicals consistently produce characteristic transcriptomic signatures that are reflective of their mechanism of action. However, the degree to which transcriptomic responses are conserved across different test methodologies has seldom been ...

Exploring the Potential of Tsuruazuki Bean as a Functional Food to Curb Obesity Using Human Amniotic Epithelial Cells and 3T3‐L1 Preadipocytes

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
Obesity is a global health problem that requires research and regulatory attention. This research aims to investigate transcriptome‐wide changes induced by Vigna umbellata (Tsuruazuki) using a stem cell‐based tool and preadipocytes to explore its untapped potential as a functional food for anti‐obesity applications.

Astragalus Polysaccharide Alleviates COPD‐Associated Skeletal Muscle Dysfunction Through Suppression of Inflammation and Cellular Senescence

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
APS alleviates COPD‐associated skeletal muscle dysfunction in both animal and cellular models. This study provides compelling preclinical evidence supporting APS as a promising functional food ingredient for mitigating skeletal muscle wasting in COPD. ABSTRACT Astragalus polysaccharide (APS) exhibits various pharmacological properties.

Anti‐Inflammatory Effects of Flavonoids in Otitis Media: A Systematic Review of Pre‐Clinical Evidence

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
Otitis media (OM) is a middle ear infection driven by chronic inflammation, leading to tissue damage and complications such as cholesteatoma. Flavonoids, a class of polyphenols with anti‐inflammatory properties, suppress key inflammatory mediators, reducing neutrophilic infiltration and mucosal thickening. These findings suggest flavonoids as potential

Cetuximab Hypersensitivity in the Setting of Asymptomatic Alpha‐Gal Sensitization

open access: yesHead &Neck, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Alpha‐gal syndrome is an allergic condition resulting from the bite of the Lonestar tick in the southeastern US that leads to sensitization to mammalian products containing the oligosaccharide galactose‐alpha‐1,3‐galactose (alpha‐gal).
