Bovine Hydatidosis at Central Abattoir of Dhamar City, Yemen

مجلة الباحث الجامعي للعلوم الانسانية, 2000تم إجراء مسح ميداني في سبتمبر ١٩٩٢م لإستبانة ٣٦٢ من أمهات يعشن في قرى حول مدينة ذمار، و ٣٧٥ أماً من مدينة ذمار، حيث كان لدى كل أم طفل حي عمره أقل من عامين أثناء إجراء المسح, وعلى الرغم أن حوالي ٩٠% من الأمهات قد أرضعن أطفالهن طبيعياً خلال الثلاثة الأشهر من أعمارهم إلا أن معدل الرضاعة الطبيعية الوافية (Full Breast – Feeding Rate) كان ٤,٩% فقط.

Pathological Abnormalities in Genital Tract of Cows Slaughtered at Dhamar Abattoirs , Yemen
Yemeni Journal of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences, 2013The present study was conducted to assess type and prevalence of gross genital tract abnormalities in cows slaughtered at Dhamar abattoir, over a period of 6 months from October 2010 to March 2011. Out of 160 cows genital tracts were collected and examined, gross abnormalities were recorded in 21 (13.13%) cases.
