Dynamic biomechanical modelling for foot ulcer prevention.
International audienceThis paper introduces a 3D Dynamic Finite Element biomechanical model of the human foot used for diabetic foot pressure ulcer prevention. The model estimates the internal strains and send an alert to the user in case of high strains

The mechanism diagram reveals that the formation of trauma‐induced heterotopic ossification (HO) is accompanied by the polarization of macrophages toward the M1 phenotype. Additionally, the extracellular vesicles secreted by M1 macrophages, which contain periostin (POSTN), directly bind to PTK7 in tendon‐derived stem cells (TDSCs).

Polystyrene nanoplastics (PS‐NPs) administered via oral exposure accelerate triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) progression by synergistically modulating gut microbiota‐derived glutamate production and platelet activation. This study uncovers a pivotal crosstalk between microbial metabolites and platelet‐tumor interactions, offering mechanistic ...

Model for the role of hsa_circ_0026782/p‐CREB1 (Ser142) played in keloid. Hsa_circ_0026782 is derived from back‐splicing of ITGA7 exon 4. When hsa_circ_0026782 binds to CREB1, the exposure of the bZIP domain and dimerization of CREB1 are promoted (upper left).

In ulcerative colitis, the loss of Odoribacter splanchnicus disrupts a microbiota‐metabolite‐neutrophil axis. Restoring this bacterium boosts lithocholic acid, which suppress neutrophil extracellular trap formation and eases colonic inflammation.
