The natural mineral Azurite [Cu3(CO3)2(OH)2] has been considered as a model substance for the 1D distorted antiferromagnetic diamond chain, the microscopic couplings of which, however, are still under discussion. Here we present results of the longitudinal elastic constant c22 down to 80 mK and magnetic fields up to 12 T.

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.
