Why Bohr was wrong in his response to EPR [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We assess the analysis made by Bohr in 1935 of the Einstein Podolsky Rosen paradox/theorem. We explicitly describe Bohr's gedanken experiment involving a double-slit moving diaphragm interacting with two independent particles and show that the analysis provided by Bohr was flawed.

Fully Printed Variable Orifice Flowmeter with Built‐In Temperature Compensation for Application in Mechanical Ventilation

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
Additive manufacturing, specifically fused deposition modeling, offers an innovative approach to creating 3D‐printed variable orifice flowmeters with integrated temperature compensation. Using carbon‐black TPU, the primary component (a variable orifice) and the secondary element (a diaphragm pressure sensor) are fabricated.

3D Printed Low‐Tortuosity and Ultra‐Thick Hierarchical Porous Electrodes for High‐Performance Wearable Quasi‐Solid‐State Zn‐VOH Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an advanced 3D‐printed aqueous Zn‐VOH batteries system, and the important role of 3D‐printed low‐tortuosity structures in improving thick electrodes’ electrochemical kinetics (mass transfer and charge transfer) is highlighted. The promising potential of 3D‐printed quasi‐solid‐state Zn‐VOH battery devices in many practical wearable ...

High-fidelity simulation of a standing-wave thermoacoustic-piezoelectric engine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We have carried out wall-resolved unstructured fully-compressible Navier--Stokes simulations of a complete standing-wave thermoacoustic piezoelectric (TAP) engine model inspired by the experimental work of Smoker et al. (2012). The model is axisymmetric and comprises a 51 cm long resonator divided into two sections: a small diameter section enclosing a
