Layered Diatremes near Sydney, New South Wales
The Journal of Geology, 1961Well-developed layering is expressed in size-sorting and orientation of elongate particles in four diatremes near Sydney, New South Wales. The layering was produced by flow of a very viscous aggregate during emplacement of intrusive breccia rather than by air-sorting at an open vent which does not satisfactorily explain observed field relations.

Geology and diatremes of Desert Mountain, Utah
2012The Desert Mountains and the Allison Knolls make up a group of isolated peaks which rise from part of the Bonneville lake plain. The area is in Juab County and is located about 24 miles west of Jericho and about 35 miles north of Delta. Sedimentary rocks are exposed in the northeast part of the area.
