Role of Polychlorinated Dibenzofuran in Yusho (PCB Poisoning)
Archives of Environmental Health: An International Journal, 1981In the blood of 15 patients with yusho or "polychlorinated biphenyl poisoning" that occurred in 1979 in Taiwan, was found polychlorinated dibenzofurans (14 of 15) and polychlorinated quaterphenyls (15 of 15), as well as polychlorinated biphenyls (15 of 15). The mean concentration ratio of these substances was approximately 1 : 160 : 500.

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans in sediments from Hong Kong
Marine Pollution Bulletin, 2002Concentrations of 2,3,7,8-substituted polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) were determined in 14 sediment samples collected from four sites in the Mai Po Marshes Nature Reserve (within a RAMSAR Site) and from another six sites in Victoria Harbour and along the Hong Kong coastline. Elevated levels of PCDDs,

PCDD, PCDF and PCB concentration levels in urban air were measured by HRGC/HRMS system. The seasonal variations in PCDD/DF and PCB were only slight. The concentration levels of PCDD/DF in winter were higher than in summer but concentration levels of PCB in summer were higher than in winter.

Polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans in PVC pyrolysis
Polymer Degradation and Stability, 1998The tars produced by PVC pyrolysis under different conditions of temperature and oxygen concentration were analysed for PCDDs and PCDFs content. The tar collected after low temperature pyrolysis (500 °C) and in reduced oxygen atmosphere (11.6% O2) had the highest PCDDs/PCDFs content.

Release Inventories of Polychlorinated Dibenzo-p-Dioxins and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans
2015For unintentionally generated persistent organic pollutants such as polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDD/PCDF), the development and maintenance of national release inventories is an obligation for parties to the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants.

2,4,5-T, Trichlorophenol, Pentachlorophenol, and Polychlorinated Dibenzofurans
1982The current advocacy of the merits of 2,4,5-T by representatives of the chemical industry and government departments responsible for agriculture would carry more weight if the herbicide was unique, which it is not. 2,4,5-T was developed in the wake of the identification of the plant growth hormones, auxins.
