Charge‐transfer coassembly enables precise control over the dynamic aggregation process, resulting in morphology evolution from amorphous aggregates to rod‐like and needle‐like microcrystals, accompanied by a significant fluorescence enhancement. This strategy yields widely tunable solid‐state emission from green to orange‐red, unveiling fundamental ...

Application of a Novel Nanocomposite for Desulfurization of a Typical Organo Sulfur Compound [PDF]
In this research, zeolite-TiO2 nanocomposite was prepared for degradation of dibenzothiophene as a typical aromatic organosulfur compound of transportation fuels. The synthesized TiO2 was immobilized on the surface of clinoptilolite by Solid State ...

Rounded TiO2 nanoparticles we sucesfully synthesized with modulated sizes from 109 to 22 nm. We observed the WS2 and NiWS active phases forming parallel slabs to the surface. The presence of Ni helped W to be better dispersed, especially on the smallest nanoparticles, which resulted in the highest activity detected among the series.

Polar Diels-Alder Reactions using Heterocycles as Electrophiles. Influence of Microwave Irradiation [PDF]
In this work we studied a series of polar Diels-Alder reactions using different heterocycles derivatives acting as electrophiles joint to dienes of different nucleophilicity, analyzing the effect of the microwave irradiation in these processes. We employ

Abstract At many petroleum hydrocarbon spill sites, residual spilled product forms a long‐term source of groundwater contamination. The phrase source zone natural depletion is used to refer to the mass loss rates. Overall mass lost under environmental conditions was analyzed using conservative biomarker concentrations for a 1979 oil spill in northern ...

Enhancement of dibenzothiophene desulfurization by Gordonia alkanivorans strain 1B using sugar beet molasses as alternative carbon source [PDF]
There are several problems limiting an industrial application of fossil fuel biodesulfurization, and one of them is the cost of culture media used to grow the microorganisms involved in the process.
