Tolerance of Imidazolinone-Resistant Corn (Zea mays) to Diclosulam1
Weed Technology, 2003Field experiments were conducted in 1996 and 1997 to evaluate the tolerance of imidazolinone-resistant (IR) and non-IR corn cultivars to preemergence (PRE) and postemergence (POST) treatments of diclosulam. Crop injury was evaluated early- (5 to 6 wk after planting [WAP]), mid- (10 to 11 WAP), and late-season (13 to 15 WAP).

Weed Control in Soybean (Glycine max) with Flumetsulam, Cloransulam, and Diclosulam
Weed Technology, 1999Cloransulam postemergence (POST), diclosulam preemergence (PRE), and flumetsulam preplant incorporated (PPI) and POST were evaluated in six trials at two locations for control of sicklepod and pitted morningglory in soybean. Sicklepod control with cloransulam plus flumetsulam POST was equivalent to chlorimuron POST in seven of eight comparisons both 3 ...

Confirmation and Management of Common Ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia) Resistant to Diclosulam
Weed Technology, 2012Selection for biotypes of common ragweed expressing resistance to acetolactate synthase (ALS)–inhibiting herbicides has increased in North Carolina and surrounding states. Research was conducted in North Carolina to confirm common ragweed resistance to diclosulam and to compare herbicide programs designed to control ALS-resistant common ragweed in corn,

Weed Management Using Reduced Rate Combinations of Diclosulam, Flumioxazin, and Imazapic in Peanut
Weed Technology, 2009Experiments were conducted during 2000 and 2001 at a total of 13 locations throughout Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas to evaluate efficacy of herbicides at or below the manufacturer's suggested use rate. Herbicide applications included diclosulam and flumioxazin applied PRE alone or followed by imazapic applied early postemergence (

Diclosulam is widely used for pre-emergent weed control in soybean crops, but information on its effectiveness against Borreria spp. (Borreria spp., syn. Spermacoce) is limited, especially considering physicochemical attributes of soils. This study evaluated diclosulam efficacy in the pre-emergence control of Borreria spinosa and Borreria verticillata ...
