Dictyoptera gansuensis sp. n. (Figs. 39–41) Description Male. Black. Elytra and margins and carinae of pronotum dark red. Head slightly excavate behind antennal prominence. Eyes relatively small (interocular distance about 3 times as long as the radius). Maxillary palpi slender, with ultimate palpomere parallel­sided, flattened at apex.

AbstractThe African genus Chorisia Princis contains a single species which was originally described as Blatta reducta Walker, and was later placed in Symploce by Princis . The following 4 species are synonyms of reducta; Phyllodromia trivirgata Werner, Ph. arundicola Werner, Ph. concolor Werner, and Chorisia fulvotestacea Princis.

Abamectin Resistance Potential in the German Cockroach (Dictyoptera: Blattellidae)

Twelve field-collected populations of German cockroaches, Blattella germanica (L.), were examined for resistance to dietary abamectin at 40 ppm. Half of these populations had significantly increased resistance ratios compared with the VPI-susceptible strain, but the highest value was only 2.4.
