Multiferroic order parameters – polarization, magnetization, and ferroelastic strain – are positioned as dynamic design variables for batteries. Their mechanistic roles, practical tuning through fabrication and external fields, and ferroic‐resolved characterization routes are unified into a closed‐loop framework, revealing how coupled ferroic responses

Surface charging of dielectric barriers under positive lightning impulse stress [PDF]
The complex geometry of gas-insulated substations makes it difficult to predict withstand voltages. A key challenge is the characterization of the interaction between electrical discharges and dielectric surfaces.

Studies on the kinetic theory of polymer dielectric breakdown due to partial discharge
With the improvement of voltage level of electrical equipment, the requirement for the reliability of polymer dielectric materials in electrical equipment is much more strict. However, there are inevitably some defects in the manufacturing process of polymer dielectric materials, such as bubbles, inclusions, and so on.

LiF‐rich solid electrolyte interphases in lithium metal batteries are redefined as controllable nanostructured building blocks rather than homogeneous protective films. This review shows how LiF distribution, grain boundaries, and heterogeneous interfaces govern electron blocking and Li ion transport, and compares fluorinated electrolytes, artificial ...

TDP‐43 Aggregation: The Healthy‐Toxic Balance of the Prion‐Like Domain
TDP‐43 function relies on a delicate balance between reversible phase‐separated states and irreversible aggregation. Under physiological conditions, TDP‐43 forms dynamic droplets and oligomers that support normal cellular functions. In pathological contexts, this balance shifts toward aberrant aggregation, leading to toxic species.
