Free Space Dielectric Techniques for Diamond Composite Characterization

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Microwaves
Compact millimeter-wave arrays demand novel packaging solutions that feature low-cost dielectric materials with significant thermal conductivity ($\sim$100 W/m ⋅ K). To characterize the permittivity and loss tangent of the dielectric

Proposal of a generic constitutive model for deformation-dependent dielectric constant of dielectric elastomers

open access: yesEngineering Science and Technology, an International Journal, 2021
Dielectric elastomers (DEs) are electroactive polymers that could be used as soft actuators, stretchable generators and sensors. Their performance is dependent on both their mechanical and dielectric properties.

Structural, Morphological and Dielectric Characterization of BiFeO3 Fibers Grown by the LFZ Technique

open access: yesCrystals, 2023
BiFeO3 fibers were prepared by the Laser Floating Zone (LFZ) technique using different growth speeds. The structural characterization of the samples was undertaken using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy, the morphological characterization ...

Structural and Dielectric Characterization of Sm2MgMnO6 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nano- and Electronic Physics, 2017
The polycrystalline Sm2MgMnO6 (SMMO) was synthesized at 1173K by means of sol-gel technique. Rietveld refine-ment of X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern confirmed the formation of a single phase monoclinic structure with space group P21/n. The band gap achieved from UV-vis spectra shows the semiconducting nature of the material.

Dielectric Characterization of a Nonlinear Optical Material [PDF]

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2014
Batisite was reported to be a nonlinear optical material showing second harmonic generation. Using dielectric spectroscopy and polarization measurements, we provide a thorough investigation of the dielectric and charge-transport properties of this material. Batisite shows the typical characteristics of a linear lossy dielectric.

Dielectric Characterization of PCB Laminate Materials Using Improved Capacitive Coupled Ring Resonators

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings, 2023
An improved ring resonator structure consisting of a capacitive coupling fixture is presented. Dielectric characterization is carried out using a fitting method that allows for comparison between measured and simulated results by setting a coupling level
