The effect of multilayered film structure on the dielectric properties of composites films based on P(VDF-HFP)/Ni(OH)2

open access: yesNanocomposites, 2019
High dielectric constant ceramics fillers are widely used as fillers in polymer matrix to prepare high performance dielectric composites. Homogeneous filler distribution in these composites films is found to be quite difficult to achieve balance between ...

Next‐Generation Bio‐Reducible Lipids Enable Enhanced Vaccine Efficacy in Malaria and Primate Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Structure–activity relationship (SAR) optimization of bio‐reducible ionizable lipids enables the development of highly effective lipid nanoparticle (LNP) mRNA vaccines. Lead LNPs show superior tolerability and antibody responses in rodents and primates, outperforming approved COVID‐19 vaccine lipids.

Effect of soil texture on the microwave emission from soils [PDF]

open access: yes
The intensity brightness temperature of the microwave emission from the soil is determined primarily by its dielectric properties. The large difference between the dielectric constant of water and that of dry soil produces a strong dependence of the soil'

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Enhanced Switching Performance in Single‐Crystalline PbTiO3 Ferroelectric Memristors for Replicating Synaptic Plasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrated single‐crystalline PbTiO3‐based memristors with atomically sharp interfaces, well‐ordered lattices, and minimal lattice mismatch. The devices exhibited an ON/OFF ratio exceeding 105, high stability, and rich resistance‐state modulation.

Measurements of the dielectric constants for planetary volatiles [PDF]

open access: yes
The model of Titan at present has the surface temperature, pressure, and composition such that there is a possibility of a binary ethane-methane ocean. Proposed experiments for future Titan flybys include microwave mappers.

Using the cylindrical rod method and a vector network analyzer to determine the dielectric permittivity of materials on microwave range

open access: yesДоклады Белорусского государственного университета информатики и радиоэлектроники, 2019
It's considered the way in which the method of a cylindrical rod together with a vector network analyzer is used to determine the dielectric constant. The algorithm for determining the dielectric constant is developed.
