Dielectric properties of Al and Ti co-doped Bi2VO5.5-δ system [PDF]

open access: yesCarbon: Science and Technology, 2019
The Polycrystalline ceramic samples with formula unit Bi2V1-xTix/2Alx/2O5.5-δ (x = 0.1 and 0.175) were synthesized. The specimens were characterized by AC Impedance Spectroscopy for dielectric studies.

TEMPERATURE TRENDS OF THE PERMITTIVITY IN COMPLEX OXIDES OF RARE-EARTH ELEMENTS WITH PEROVSKITE-TYPE STRUCTURE

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2003
Ceramic materials based on complex oxides with both the perovskite structure (Ln2/3Nb2O6) and the structure of tetragonal tungsten bronze (Ba6-xLn8+2x/3Ti18O54) have been investigated over a wide frequency and temperature ranges. The results obtained for

Acceptor-Induced Bulk Dielectric Loss in Superconducting Circuits on Silicon

open access: yesPhysical Review X
The performance of superconducting quantum circuits is primarily limited by dielectric loss due to interactions with two-level systems (TLSs). State-of-the-art circuits with engineered material interfaces are approaching a limit where dielectric loss ...

Onset of dielectric modes at 110K and 60K due to local lattice distortions in non-superconducting YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6.0} crystals

open access: yes, 2000
We report the observation of two dielectric transitions at 110K and 60K in the microwave response of non-superconducting YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6.0} crystals. The transitions are characterized by a change in polarizability and presence of loss peaks, associated

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Losses of the parallel-plate dielectric resonator

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation, 2006
The various loss aspects of the parallel-plate microwave dielectric resonator for the TE 01delta mode is studied from a modified field model. The main merit of this field model is that it provides very simple electromagnetic field expressions of this field mode. Various methods of calculation of losses are discussed.
