Powder Optimization Strategies for Binder Jetting Printing of BaTiO3 and Ba0,6Sr0,4TiO3 Ceramics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Powder optimization is investigated to enable binder jetting of BaTiO3 and Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ferroelectric ceramics. The antagonistic relationship between flowability and binder compatibility is addressed through binder impregnation of granulated powders and fumed silica addition to fine powders.

Dielectric spectroscopy and hydrogen bonding studies of 1-chloropropane–ethanol mixture using TDR technique [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Dielectrics, 2019
The time-domain reflectometry technique was exercised to assess the complex permittivities of 1-chloropropane and ethanol along with their binary mixture in the frequency range of 10MHz–50GHz and in the temperature range of 10–25∘C. Dielectric parameters

Gaseous density calculation by means of relative permittivity measurement

open access: yesMeasurement: Sensors, 2021
This study presents a gaseous density calculation method on the basis of relative permittivity measurement. The relative permittivity of a gas sample is measured by using a cylindrical microwave cavity resonator in wide temperature and pressure ranges ...

A nanocapacitor with giant dielectric permittivity

open access: yesNanotechnology, 2006
A nanocapacitor with ultra high capacitance (718 ± 0.2 pF) has been fabricated using electro-deposited Au nanowires manipulated between two Au microelectrodes by the dielectrophoresis technique. A high dc resistance value (~100 MΩ) and nonlinear current–voltage characteristics indicate the formation of a dielectric interface between the nanowires. From

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 43, 29 May 2026.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Permittivity of Porous Titanate Dielectrics [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, 2006
Relative permittivities ranging from 12 to 100 were obtained from porous titania. Relative permittivities from 8 to 30 were obtained from porous calcium magnesium titanates. Porosity was introduced as microporosity by partial sintering, as 15 μm diameter spherical pores with porogens, and by fabrication of a microcellular structure

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...
