Investigations into Polarisations in Dielectric Resonator Antenna
2018This paper presented investigations into polarization for designing antennas. The left-hand and right-hand polarization switchable cylindrical DRA has been investigated using two crossed slots of unequal lengths. They couple energy through an aperture-coupled microstrip feed line.

Hopping losses in polarisable dielectric media
Nature, 1974The loss in most dielectric materials shows a component that is ‘flat’ in frequency over several decades and does not depend strongly on temperature. The usual interpretation as the sum of many Debye-like loss peaks is criticised and a new model is proposed in which charge carriers hop between localised sites in a polarisable medium.

A Dual-Polarised Dielectric Near-Field Probe
2007 2nd International ITG Conference on Antennas, 2007This paper presents a novel dielectric near-field probe as an alternative for the conventional open-ended waveguide probes. The latter tend to be bulky in the mobile communication frequency bands (GSM 900 and GSM 1800). Furthermore they show significant interaction with the AUT as compared to the proposed dielectric probe.
