Dielectric properties of tills
[Proceedings] IGARSS'91 Remote Sensing: Global Monitoring for Earth Management, 2005Dielectric properties of tills, determined using the in situ time domain reflectometry (TDR; f = 200-750 MHz) and ground penetrating radar (GPR; c.f. = 80-100 MHz) surface arrival detection (RSAD) techniques, have been shown to be dependent on the contained volumetric water and respective clay content.

Abstract In order to study the electronic conduction in LaFe 0.5 Ga 0.5 O 3 , dielectric properties have been mainly investigated below T N ≃ 215 K along with dc measurements, where T N is the Neel temperature which was obtained by magnetic measurement. In dielectric loss factor, a relaxation

Dielectric properties of KD2PO4
Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, 1962Abstract The small signal dielectric constant along the polarization axis of the ferroelectric KD2PO4 has been re-measured as a function of temperature. In contrast to a previous measurement, the result exhibits good Curie law dependence above the Curie temperature, with a Curie constant essentially equal to that obtained in the most recent ...

Measurement of Dielectric Properties
2016This chapter reports on the apparatus used to measure the dielectric properties of microwave dielectrics as a function of temperature, consisting of a shielded dielectric resonator mounted upon the cold head of a cryogenic closed-cycle refrigerator.

Dielectric Properties of Magnetoplasmas.
1989Abstract : This report discusses the dielectric properties of magnetoplasmas by first considering a plasma at rest and then causing acceleration by increasing the electric field, E, slowly. The polarization current is calculated, then gravity is added which causes a current to flow.

Dielectric Properties of Semiconductors
2016We discuss the dielectric response of a crystal. We consider separately the ionic response and the electronic response in the Random Phase Approximation. We then consider explicitly the interesting limits of the response of an electron gas in three and two dimensions at low temperature, and in the static- and long-wavelength limits.

Dielectric properties of suspensions
2007We review recent progress in the theory of inhomogeneous dielectric media. Methods have been developed which allow a systematic analysis of correlation effects. The importance of a spectral representation of the effective dielectric constant is emphasized.
