Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

A family of skew Hadamard difference sets [PDF]
In 1933 a family of skew Hadamard difference sets was described by Paley using matrix language and was called the Paley–Hadamard difference sets in the literature. During the last 70 years, no new skew Hadamard difference sets were found.

On the Geometry of Planar Difference Sets
The order n (if \(n>4\) is even) of a projective plane P with an abelian difference set is a multiple of 8. If n is a square there exists a abelian difference set for a (Baer) subplane of P.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

SOFT INTERSECTION-SYMMETRIC DIFFERENCE PRODUCT OF GROUPS [PDF]
Soft set theory constitutes a mathematically robust and structurally versatile formalism for modeling real-world systems characterized by epistemic uncertainty, vagueness, and parameter-contingent variability—ubiquitous features across decision theory ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Soft difference-product: A new product for soft sets with its decision-making
A thorough mathematical foundation for handling uncertainty is provided by the concept of soft sets. Soft set operations are key concepts in soft set theory since they offer novel approaches to problems requiring parametric data.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
