Expression profile of rice PLC gene family during developmental stages.

open access: yes, 2013
Average signal intensity (GCRMA) value of three replicates from microarray for all the developmental stages (three vegetative; L-mature leaf, R-root, SDL-seven day old seedling, six panicle stages; P1–P6 and five seed stages; S1–S5) has been plotted to ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Subjective meaning of time in different developmental stages [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The topic of the thesis is subjective perception of time in different developmental stages. In the theoretical part the concept of time is defined from different perspectives. We already know a lot about time from the scientific perspective, but the main

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Description of different developmental stages of centrocestus formosanus (nishigori, 1924) (Digenea: Heterophyidae)

open access: yesRevista Científica, 2010
Descriptions of the different imrnature stages (redia, cercaria, and metacercaria) and adult stage of Centrocestus formosanus (Nishigori) are presented. Between 32 and 36 circumoral spines are generally reported for the C.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Expression of Two Survivin Variants in Different Developmental Stages of Mouse Ovaries

open access: yesپزشکی بالینی ابن سینا, 2009
Introduction & Objective: Survivin is one of the new characterized members of the inhibitor of apoptosis proteins that shows widespread expression in embryonic and tumoric tissues. The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression of Survivin variants

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.
