Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

We study the first order prolongations of derived G-structures (in the sense of P. Dazord [9]) on a differentiable manifold. We give necessary and sufficient conditions (in terms of structure functions) for the complete integrability of the ...

Objective The objective of this study was to describe the longitudinal disease course and pulmonary outcomes of North American patients with melanoma differentiation–associated protein 5 (MDA5) antibody–associated dermatomyositis (DM). Methods Thirty patients with MDA5 antibody–associated DM were identified in a single‐center longitudinal cohort of 352

On the partial parallelizable manifolds and associated invariants
Our idea is to use the global diffeomorphism group G (M) to study certain properties of differentiable manifolds endowed with global vector fields. We define a partial parallelizable manifold (p.p.m.) as a couple (M, ρp), where ρp is a global partial ...

We consider the following nonlinear fractional Schrödinger equation: (−△)su+V(x)u=g(u)in RN, $$ (-\triangle )^{s} u+V(x)u=g(u) \quad \text{in } \mathbb{R} ^{N}, $$ where s∈(0,1) $s\in (0, 1)$, N>2s $N>2s$, V(x) $V(x)$ is differentiable, and g∈C1(R,R) $g ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Locally conformal symplectic manifolds
A locally conformal symplectic (l. c. s.) manifold is a pair (M2n,Ω) where M2n(n>1) is a connected differentiable manifold, and Ω a nondegenerate 2-form on M such that M=⋃αUα (Uα- open subsets). Ω/Uα=eσαΩα, σα:Uα→ℝ, dΩα=0.

Multianalyte, real‐time monitoring of bioprinted scaffolds remains challenging. Phosphorescence‐lifetime–based, optically responsive microparticles are embedded in diverse printable hydrogels (κ‐carrageenan, GelMA, PEGDA) to form biomaterial inks that report oxygen, glucose, lactate, and temperature.
