Electrical Capacitance Tomography With Differential Sensor [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Sensors Journal, 2015
In electrical capacitance tomography, capacitance changes are used to determine the permittivity distribution in the imaging area. However, the changes are small compared to the standing capacitances, e.g. usually in the order of 10~30%. For a single channel capacitance sensor, a differential configuration having a redundant pair of electrodes can be ...

Evaluation of the differential capacitance for ferroelectric materials using either charge-based or energy-based expressions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Dielectrics, 2014
Differential capacitance is derived based upon energy, charge or current considerations, and determined when it may go negative or positive. These alternative views of differential capacitances are analyzed, and the relationships between them are shown ...

A motion characteristics modeled angular position sensor by nonlinear transfer of differential capacitance for miniaturized scanning mirrors [PDF]

open access: yesMicrosystems & Nanoengineering, 2023
In this paper, an angular position sensor (APS) designed for a resonant miniaturized scanning mirror (M-SM) is presented. The APS operates based on the principle of differential variable capacitance, significantly expanding the detectable bandwidth from ...

A VCII-Based Stray Insensitive Analog Interface for Differential Capacitance Sensors [PDF]

open access: yesSensors, 2019
In this paper, a novel approach to implement a stray insensitive CMOS interface for differential capacitive sensors is presented. The proposed circuit employs, for the first time, second-generation voltage conveyors (VCIIs) and produces an output voltage

Copper electrodeposition from a copper acid baths in the presence of PEG and NaCl [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2001
Copper electrodeposition from copper acid solutions containing PEG and NaCl has been investigated onto Cu(111), Cu(100) and polycrystalline copper electrodes using polarization and EIS measurements. The adsorption of sulphate and chloride anions, and PEG

RETRACTED: Capacitive Behavior of Aqueous Electrical Double Layer Based on Dipole Dimer Water Model

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
The aim of the present paper is to investigate the possibility of using the dipole dimer as water model in describing the electrical double layer capacitor capacitance behaviors. Several points are confirmed.

The differential capacitance of magnetite

open access: yesSurface Technology, 1979
Abstract Results from impedance measurements on a polycrystalline magnetite electrode in NaClO 4 solution are presented as plots of capacitance and resistance against potential. In order to explain the curves semiconductor properties of the electrode must be taken into account. Mott-Schottky plots indicate a change in semiconductor behaviour.
