Research on deep differential fault analysis against MIBS
The MIBS algorithm and its differential fault analysis principle were presented, then three differential fault analysis methods against MIBS were proposed based on different depth of fault model and verified through experiments.Experiment results ...

Quaternary rupture of a crustal fault beneath Victoria, British Columbia, Canada [PDF]
The seismic potential of crustal faults within the forearc of the northern Cascadia subduction zone in British Columbia has remained elusive, despite the recognition of recent seismic activity on nearby fault systems within the Juan de Fuca Strait.

Model based fault diagnosis for hybrid systems : application on chemical processes [PDF]
The complexity and the size of the industrial chemical processes induce the monitoring of a growing number of process variables. Their knowledge is generally based on the measurements of system variables and on the physico-chemical models of the process.

Diagnosis of Different Types of Air-Gap Eccentricity Fault in Switched Reluctance Motors Using Transient Finite Element Method [PDF]
This paper presents a method for diagnosis of eccentricity fault in a switched-reluctance motor (SRM) during offline and standstill modes. In this method, the fault signature is differential induced voltage (DIV) achieved by injecting diagnostic pulses ...

Differential Fault Analysis of Rabbit [PDF]
Rabbit is a high speed scalable stream cipher with 128-bit key and a 64-bit initialization vector. It has passed all three stages of the ECRYPT stream cipher project and is a member of eSTREAM software portfolio. In this paper, we present a practical fault analysis attack on Rabbit. The fault model in which we analyze the cipher is the one in which the

New differential fault analysis on PRESENT [PDF]
Abstract In this paper, we present two differential fault analyses on PRESENT-80 which is a lightweight block cipher. The first attack is a basic attack which induces a fault on only one bit of intermediate states, and we can obtain the last subkey of the block cipher, given 48 faulty cipher texts on average.

A Search for Temporal Variations in Station Terms in Southern California from 1984 to 2002 [PDF]
We use relative arrival times and locations for similar earthquake pairs that are found using a cross-correlation method to analyze the time dependence of P and S station terms in southern California from 1984 to 2002.

Fault reactivation by fluid injection: Controls from stress state and injection rate [PDF]
We studied the influence of stress state and fluid injection rate on the reactivation of faults. We conducted experiments on a saw-cut Westerly granite sample under triaxial stress conditions.

Differential fault analysis on the SMS4 cipher by inducing faults to the key schedule
On the basis of the byte-oriented fault model and the differential analysis,a differential fault analysis on the SMS4 cipher by inducing faults in its key schedule was proposed.Mathematical analysis and simulating experiment show that the attack could ...
