Wearable Metamaterials with Embodied Intelligence for Programmable Control of Human Limbs Tremor

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Resulting from alternating muscle contractions, tremors can severely limit human ability to perform everyday tasks like walking or talking, due to their disruptive nature. Medication and surgery may not always effectively address tremor control. A wearable device embodying programmable smart metamaterials with adaptable intelligence to meet the demand ...

Combining Adipose‐Derived Stromal Cell Spheroids and Melt Electrowritten Scaffolds for a 3D Adipose Model Mimicking Structure and Function of Fat Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
A 3D adipose tissue model is fabricated by combining melt electrowritten scaffolds with multicellular adipose‐derived stromal cell spheroids. The resulting constructs are characterized by a coherent, tissue‐like matrix. The lipid droplet size is tunable by oleic acid supplementation, reaching native‐like diameters.

Csp, Csp2, and Csp3 Hydrocarbyl Group Migration from Pd(II) to P(III): Accessing Metallophosphoranes via Nonspectator Ligand Reactivity

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Well‐defined migration of Csp, Csp2, and Csp3 hydrocarbyls from Pd(II) compounds to a nontrigonal P(III) ligand scaffold is reported. The structural and spectroscopic features of the resulting complexes reveal a conserved Pd─P interaction. The results demonstrate the nonspectator role of structurally constrained tricoodinate P(III) ligands in palladium
