Simplex type differential inclusions

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2000
The author reveals modelling simplifications and ease of numerical calculation for the differential inclusion \(\dot x\in V(x)\) in case \(V(x)\) is the \(p\)-dimensional simplex with vertices \(v_0(x)\), \dots, \(v_p(x)\). The investigation relies on the \(\tau\)-family of differential inclusions \(\dot x=X_\tau(x)\) with \(X_\tau=\tau^0v_0+\cdots ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Stability Analysis of Retarded Differential Inclusions

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
Retarded differential inclusions have drawn more and more attention, due to the development of feedback control systems with delays and dynamical systems determined by retarded differential equations with a discontinuous right-hand side.

Optimal Control of Neutral Functional-Differential Inclusions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
This paper deals with optimal control problems for dynamical systems governed by constrained functional-differential inclusions of neutral type. Such control systems contain time-delays not only in state variables but also in velocity variables, which ...

Organizing the interface—Plasma membrane architecture and receptor dynamics in virus‐cell interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Solvability of control problem for fractional nonlinear differential inclusions with nonlocal conditions

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2019
In this paper, we study the approximate controllability of nonlocal fractional differential inclusions involving the Caputo fractional derivative of order q ∈ (1,2) in a Hilbert space.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Attractors of multivalued semiflows generated by differential inclusions and their approximations

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2000
We prove the existence of global compact attractors for differential inclusions and obtain some results concerning the continuity and upper semicontinuity of the attractors for approximating and perturbed inclusions.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

FOURIER PROBLEM FOR WEAKLY NONLINEAR EVOLUTION INCLUSIONS WITH FUNCTIONALS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
The Fourier problem or, in other words, the problem without initial conditionsfor evolution equations and inclusions arise in modeling different nonstationary processes in nature, that started a long time ago and initial conditions do not affect on them ...
