Gravitons and a complex of differential operators [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2015
Gravity is now understood to become simple on-shell. We sketch how it becomes simple also off-shell, when reformulated appropriately. Thus, we describe a simple Lagrangian for gravitons that makes use of a certain complex of differential operators. The Lagrangian is constructed analogously to that of Maxwell's theory, but using a different complex ...

Early metastasis is characterized by Gr1+ cell dysregulation and is inhibited by immunomodulatory nanoparticles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer metastasis is associated with myeloid cell dysregulation and the lung‐specific accumulation of tumor‐supportive Gr1+ cells. Gr1+ cells support metastasis, in part, through a CHI3L1‐mediated mechanism, which can be targeted and inhibited with cargo‐free, polymeric nanoparticles.

ELEMENTARY SOLUTIONS OF A HOMOGENEOUS Q-SIDED CONVOLUTION EQUATION

open access: yesПроблемы анализа, 2018
Spectral synthesis on the complex plane related to solutions of some homogeneous equations of convolution type. There is a method to obtain solutions: we describe the elementary solutions set of the equation (spectral analysis) and prove the ...

Multiple Solutions for Nonlinear Coercive Problems with a Nonhomogeneous Differential Operator and a Nonsmooth Potential

open access: yes, 2012
We consider a nonlinear elliptic problem driven by a nonlinear nonhomogeneous differential operator and a nonsmooth potential. We prove two multiplicity theorems for problems with coercive energy functional.

Degenerate Differential Operators with Parameters [PDF]

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2007
The nonlocal boundary value problems for regular degenerate differential-operator equations with the parameter are studied. The principal parts of the appropriate generated differential operators are non-self-adjoint. Several conditions for the maximal regularity uniformly with respect to the parameter and the Fredholmness in Banach-valuedLp−spaces of ...

Detecting homologous recombination deficiency for breast cancer through integrative analysis of genomic data

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Complex symmetry of first-order differential operators on Hardy space [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Given holomorphic functions $\psi_0$ and $\psi_1$, we consider first-order differential operators acting on Hardy space, generated by the formal differential expression $E(\psi_0,\psi_1)f(z)=\psi_0(z)f(z)+\psi_1(z)f'(z)$. We characterize these operators which are complex symmetric with respect to weighted composition conjugations.

TRPM8 levels determine tumor vulnerability to channel agonists

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
TRPM8 is a Ca2+ permissive channel. Regardless of the amount of its transcript, high levels of TRPM8 protein mark different tumors, including prostate, breast, colorectal, and lung carcinomas. Targeting TRPM8 with channel agonists stimulates inward calcium currents followed by emptying of cytosolic Ca2+ stores in cancer cells.

On pseudo-differential operators on group SU(2) [PDF]

open access: yesNew developments in pseudo-differential operators, 307-322, Oper. Theory Adv. Appl., 189, Birkhauser, Basel, 2009., 2008
In this paper we will outline elements of the global calculus of seudo-differential operators on the group SU(2). This is a part of a more general approach to pseudo-differential operators on compact Lie groups that will appear in the forthcoming book by the authors.
