Obstacle problems for integro-differential operators: regularity of solutions and free boundaries

open access: yes, 2016
We study the obstacle problem for integro-differential operators of order 2s, with s∈(0,1) . Our main result establish that the free boundary is C1,γ and u∈C1,s near all regular points. Namely, we prove the following dichotomy at all free boundary points

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Selfadjoint extensions of multipoint singular differential operators

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2013
This article describes all selfadjoint extensions of the minimal operator generated by a linear singular multipoint symmetric differential-operator expression for first order in the direct sum of Hilbert spaces of vector-functions.

The Cauchy problem for the Navier-Stokes equations

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы, 2020
In the paper we study issues of a strong solution for "essentially" loaded differential equations of the parabolic type in bounded domains. Features of the problems under consideration: for example, in the L 2( Q ) space the corresponding differential ...

Multiplication properties in pseudo-differential calculus with small regularity on the symbols

open access: yes, 2010
We consider modulation space and spaces of Schatten–von Neumann symbols where corresponding pseudo-differential operators map one Hilbert space to another.

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Mappings of finite distortion and Laplace-Beltrami operators

open access: yes, 2000
We show some results concerning Gamma-convergence for Laplace-Beltrami operators in the plane, associated to mappings of finite distortion, uniformly bounded in some exponential ...

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
