Six cases of difficult intubation are presented and their management discussed. Routine practice of blind nasal intubation and fiberoptic laryngoscopy is recommended for improved dexterity. Elective tracheostomy should be considered in cases where the airway is compromised and cricothyroidotomy should be recommended.
