Fractional Diffusion Bridge Models
We present Fractional Diffusion Bridge Models (FDBM), a novel generative diffusion bridge framework driven by an approximation of the rich and non-Markovian fractional Brownian motion (fBM). Real stochastic processes exhibit a degree of memory effects (correlations in time), long-range dependencies, roughness and anomalous diffusion phenomena that are ...

Fractional diffusion equation and diffusive stresses [PDF]
AbstractA quasi‐static uncoupled theory of diffusive stresses based on the time‐fractional diffusion equation is considered. The Caputo fractional derivative of order α is used. In particular, the proposed theory interpolates the classical theory of diffusive stresses and that without energy dissipation.

Correlation structure of fractional Pearson diffusions
The stochastic solution to a diffusion equations with polynomial coefficients is called a Pearson diffusion. If the first time derivative is replaced by a Caputo fractional derivative of order less than one, the stochastic solution is called a fractional Pearson diffusion.

Formation Channels of Diffuse Lights in Groups and Clusters over Time
We explore the formation of the intragroup light and intracluster light, representing diffuse lights within groups and clusters, from the point that z = 1.5.

Diffusion thermopower at even-denominator fractions [PDF]
We compute the electron diffusion thermopower at compressible Quantum Hall states corresponding to even denominator fractions in the framework of the composite fermion approach. It is shown that the deviation from the linear low temperature behavior of the termopower is dominated by the logarithmic temperature corrections to the conductivity and not to

Uncovering the multi-scale structure of dust distribution in nearby galaxies
Context. High-resolution JWST-MIRI images allow us to resolve the multi-scale nature of the emission in nearby star-forming galaxies in great detail, from compact star-forming regions to large-scale diffuse emission, providing new insights into dust ...

High frequency knowledge of the spatio-temporal distribution of the downwelling surface shortwave flux (DSSF) and its diffuse fraction (fd) at the surface is nowadays essential for understanding climate processes at the surface−atmosphere interface,
