Diffuse midline glioma of the brainstem: genetic features, complications and treatment prospects
Diffuse midline glioma of the brain is a rare but very aggressive and resistant glial tumor. This pathology is characterized by impossibility of radical surgical treatment, radioresistance, resistance to drug treatment, high morbidity in children, low ...

Targeting Tumor Dormancy and Recurrence: Molecular Mechanisms and Peptide Therapeutic Delivery
This review summarizes the molecular mechanisms that regulate tumor dormancy and its role in cancer recurrence, with emphasis on immune evasion, extracellular matrix remodeling, metabolic regulation and angiogenic switching. It further discusses emerging peptide–based therapeutic strategies aimed at detecting, modulating, and eliminating dormant tumor ...

Encapsulated acriflavine (ACF) and copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) are coreleased from coaxial nanofibers, producing synergistic antiglioblastoma multiforme effects. ACF suppresses the hypoxia‐inducible factor 1α pathway related to many downstream factors for tumor growth, while CuO NPs generate reactive oxygen species that assist cuproptosis ...

GABAergic neuron-to-glioma synapses in diffuse midline gliomas
Abstract High-grade gliomas (HGGs) are the leading cause of brain cancer-related death. HGGs include clinically, anatomically and molecularly distinct subtypes that stratify into diffuse midline gliomas (DMGs), such as H3K27M -altered diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, and ...
