Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.

Study on flame stability in oxygen-enriched ammonia/N2/O2 laminar diffusion flame

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2018
Ammonia is regarded as one of the alternative fuels because CO2 is not emitted during the combustion process of ammonia. The physical properties of ammonia are suitable for transportation and storage as a “hydrogen carrier”.

Diffusion Combustion in a Tube-Nested Combustor

open access: yesJSME International Journal Series B, 2004
An advanced-type compact water-tube boiler has been designed on the basis of the new concept of cooling flame by water-tube bank in the furnace, and is referred to as tube-nested combustor. It realized drastic reduction in boiler size as well as in the NO x emission.
