Stochastic thermodynamics of entropic transport
Seifert derived an exact fluctuation relation for diffusion processes using the concept of "stochastic system entropy". In this note we extend his formalism to entropic transport.

ABSTRACT Objective Plasma fibrinogen is essential in thrombosis and fibrinolysis, yet its dynamic changes pre‐ and post‐intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) for predicting brain injury severity and prognosis in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients remain unclear.

Spectral gap of the Erlang A model in the Halfin-Whitt regime
We consider a hybrid diffusion process that is a combination of two Ornstein-Uhlenbeck processes with different restraining forces. This process serves as the heavy-traffic approximation to the Markovian many-server queue with abandonments in the ...

Three Majority-Based Deterministic Dynamics for Three Opinions
Phenomena from a variety of disciplines, including biology, computer science and sociology, can be modeled by graph dynamics in which nodes are associated with states and the node-state association changes in time.

ABSTRACT Pathogenic variants in KIF1C cause Spastic Paraplegia 58 (SPG58), typically presenting with cerebellar ataxia and spastic paraparesis. We report two unrelated patients with spastic paraparesis, cerebellar ataxia, and tremor. Whole‐exome sequence analysis identified novel homozygous variants in the motor domain of KIF1C (NM_006612.6): c.921G>A (

The McCance Brain Care Score and Mortality: Evidence From a Large‐Scale Population‐Based Cohort
ABSTRACT Objectives This study aimed to examine the relationship between the McCance Brain Care Score (BCS) and mortality in the general population. Methods We conducted a prospective, population‐based cohort study using data from the UK Biobank. Participants with complete data enabling calculation of BCS and full mortality information were included ...

Post‐COVID Fatigue Is Associated With Reduced Cortical Thickness After Hospitalization
ABSTRACT Objective Neuropsychiatric symptoms are among the most prevalent sequelae of COVID‐19, particularly among hospitalized patients. Recent research has identified volumetric brain changes associated with COVID‐19. However, it currently remains poorly understood how brain changes relate to post‐COVID fatigue and cognitive deficits.
