Steady-state kinetics of diffusionless first order phase transformations
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1977An attempt is made to describe the kinetics of diffusionless first order phase transformations in terms of the time-dependent Landau–Ginzburg equation. A steady-state solution to the equation is presented such that an interface may propagate with a shape-preserving profile under constant supercooling.

Direct Observation of the Diffusionless β → β + ω Transformation in Titanium Alloys
Proceedings, annual meeting, Electron Microscopy Society of America, 1971The electron microscope has been used to study the diffusionless β → β + ω transformation occurring in certain titanium alloys at low temperatures. Evidence for such a transformation was obtained by Cometto et al by means of x-ray diffraction and resistivity measurements on a Ti-Nb alloy.

The fine structure of wurtzitic and zincblende BN phases formed during diffusionless transformations by the puckering mechanism was investigated by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The formation of inversion boundaries in prismatic planes of wurtzitic BN was detected.
