NF90–NF45 functions as a negative regulator of methyltransferase‐like 3/14 (METTL3/14)‐mediated N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) modification on primary microRNAs (pri‐miRNAs). NF90–NF45 binds to anti‐oncogenic pri‐miRNAs and inhibits their m6A modification, thereby suppressing the biogenesis of anti‐oncogenic miRNAs.

Full-scale combination of anaerobic digestion and concentration by evaporation in Garrigues (Lleida, Spain): evaluation after 2 years of operation [PDF]
Evaporation process is a reliable strategy to manage pig slurry, removing water and recovering nutrients by concentration. The described treatment plant, TRACJUSA, applies the VALPURENTM process, which is based on the combination of anaerobic digestion

Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Faecal (or intestinal) microbiota transplant: a tool for repairing the gut microbiome
Faecal/intestinal microbiota transplant (FMT/IMT) is an efficacious treatment option for recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection, which has prompted substantial interest in FMT’s potential role in the management of a much broader range of diseases ...
