Clinical Outcomes After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention in Patients With Cirrhosis: A Multicentre National Study

Summary of a multicentre TriNetX study evaluating outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with cirrhosis. Cirrhosis was associated with higher 1‐year gastrointestinal bleeding and mortality, especially with decompensated disease.

Meta‐Analysis: Prevalence of Non‐Helicobacter pylori, Non‐NSAID Peptic Ulcer Disease

A meta‐analysis of 92 studies including 60,816 patients found that non‐H. pylori, non‐NSAID represent a non‐negligible but heterogeneous component of peptic ulcer disease. Among bleeding ulcers, this proportion increased over time, potentially reflecting evolving etiologic patterns beyond H. pylori infection and NSAID exposure.

Review Article: Immune Effector Cell‐Mediated Enterocolitis Following CAR‐T Cell Therapy—Clinical Features, Pathophysiology and Management

Immune effector cell‐mediated enterocolitis is an emerging complication of CAR‐T therapy. This review summarizes its epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, endoscopic and histopathologic features, and evidence‐based management, emphasizing early recognition, multidisciplinary intervention, and step‐up therapy.

KYNU in Gastric Cancer Cells Promotes Tumor Progression by Influencing Macrophage Polarization Via PF4

KYNU is upregulated in gastric cancer cells and activates the PI3K/Akt pathway, leading to PF4 secretion. PF4 drives nonclassical macrophage polarization with high expression of S100A8 and MMP7, which promotes tumor proliferation, migration, and invasion while suppressing phagocytosis, thereby accelerating gastric cancer progression.
