1990Abstract : In July 1989, the Air Force meridional chain of Digisondes was completed by the installation of a system in Sondrestromfjord, Greenland (66.98 deg N, 50.94 deg W). 1983Abstract : Automatic scaling of Digisonde ionograms by the ARTIST system is discussed and reference is made to the ARTIST's success in scaling over 8000 ionograms. Some of the numerical methods implemented by the ARTIST system are described in detail and the logic of the ARTIST software is explained.

Thermospheric Neutral Wind Measurement Using the LWA1 and the AFRL Digisonde
2014Abstract : We use the first station of the Long Wavelength Array (LWA1) to observe low power echoes from meteors due to illumination of meteor trails from TV or VHF radar. We built and deployed 5 Data Recorder Storage Units (DRSUs) at LWA1 and use these to collect data from the LWA1.
