PSMD14 Stabilizes SLC7A11 to Ameliorate Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteoporosis by Suppressing Osteocyte Ferroptosis

Glucocorticoid‐induced osteoporosis (GIOP) triggers osteocyte ferroptosis via SLC7A11 degradation. PSMD14 stabilizes SLC7A11 by counteracting glucocorticoid‐driven ubiquitination, preserving cystine uptake and glutathione synthesis. AAV‐mediated PSMD14 delivery or its agonist Pantethine rescues osteocyte survival and bone loss in GIOP mice.

Exercise without Weight Loss Prevents Seasonal Decline in Vitamin D Metabolites: The VitaDEx Randomized Controlled Trial

In people with overweight or obesity, regular exercise even without weight loss or vitamin D supplementation completely prevents the usual winter decline in the vitamin D metabolite that maintains health at a cellular level, 1,25(OH)2D3, and ameliorates the decline in the vitamin D status marker 25(OH)D.

UK strategies for digital preservation and digital curation

The UK has long been active in digital preservation. Following a series of international workshops, the Digital Preservation Coalition was set up in 2001. Meanwhile, other parts of the UK were becoming heavily engaged in e-science, and bearing these developments in mind, the Digital Curation Centre was formed in 2004.

Nanoconfinement Engineering of Covalent Organic Frameworks in Polyamide Membranes for High‐Perselectivity Li+/Mg2+ Separation
