Personal Archive Management with Digital Curation Concept on Students’ Smartphones

open access: yesRecord and Library Journal, 2019
Bckground of the study: Digital curation activities are necessary for organizing digital archives to be accessible to the present and future. The problem in this research is that information and library management (MIP) students who have previously ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Extracting, Transforming and Archiving Scientific Data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
It is becoming common to archive research datasets that are not only large but also numerous. In addition, their corresponding metadata and the software required to analyse or display them need to be archived. Yet the manual curation of research data can

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

FGFR Like1 drives esophageal cancer progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and notch signalling: insights from clinical data and next‐generation sequencing analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Clinical analysis reveals significant dysregulation of FGFRL1 in esophageal cancer (EC) patients. RNAi‐coupled next‐generation sequencing (NGS) and in vitro study reveal FGFRL1‐mediated EC progression via EMT, PI3K/Akt, and Notch pathways. Functional assays confirm its role in tumor growth, migration, and invasion.

Closing the loop: assisting archival appraisal and information retrieval in one sweep [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this article, we examine the similarities between the concept of appraisal, a process that takes place within the archives, and the concept of relevance judgement, a process fundamental to the evaluation of information retrieval systems.

Digital curation at the university

open access: yesRecord and Library Journal, 2023
Background of the study: Universities should manage information digitally. Digital curation is a way to preserve and develop the collection of information so that it can be maintained and accessed in the future. Purpose: This study aims to determine how many studies have examined digital curation at universities from 2012-2022 and the extent of the ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.
