Imaging in digital holographic microscopy
We present a theoretical formalism for three dimensional (3D) imaging properties of digital holographic microscopy (DHM). Through frequency analysis and visualization of its 3D optical transfer function, an assessment of the imaging behavior of DHM is given. The results are compared with those from other types of interference microscopy.

Digital in-line holographic microscopy
Applied Optics, 2006We first briefly review the state of the art of digital in-line holographic microscopy (DIHM) with numerical reconstruction and then discuss some technical issues, such as lateral and depth resolution, depth of field, twin image, four-dimensional tracking, and reconstruction algorithm.

Holographic point source for digital lensless holographic microscopy
Optics Letters, 2022A holographic point source (HPS) developed for digital lensless holographic microscopy (HPS-DLHM) is presented. The HPS is an off-axis phase transmission hologram of an experimental micrometer pinhole recorded on a photopolymer holographic film. An amplitude division interferometer, adjusted to operate at maximum diffraction efficiency, has been ...

In-line digital holographic imaging in volume holographic microscopy
Optics Letters, 2015A dual-plane in-line digital holographic imaging method incorporating volume holographic microscopy (VHM) is presented to reconstruct objects in a single shot while eliminating zero-order and twin-image diffracted waves. The proposed imaging method is configured such that information from different axial planes is acquired simultaneously using ...

Optical Tomography by Digital Holographic Microscopy
Novel Optical Instrumentation for Biomedical Applications IV, 2009Optical tomography provides three-dimensional data of the measured specimen, while quantitative phase imaging enables measuring the induced phase-shifts. Combining those two technologies makes possible to get three-dimensional refractive index reconstruction.

Compressed sensing for digital holographic microscopy
2010 IEEE International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro, 2010This paper describes an original microscopy imaging framework successfully employing Compressed Sensing for digital holography. Our approach combines a sparsity minimization algorithm to reconstruct the image and digital holography to perform quadrature-resolved random measurements of an optical field in a diffraction plane.

Recent Advances in Digital Holographic Microscopy
2018 20th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON), 2018In digital holographic microscopy (DHM) a hologram is captured in the image space provided by a microscope. The transfer of the phase and amplitude structure in the original sample to the hologram is in fact strongly affected by the use of the imaging microscope.
