Combining VPS34 inhibitors with STING agonists enhances type I interferon signaling and anti‐tumor efficacy

VPS34 inhibition in cancer cells triggers activation of the cGAS–STING pathway and thereby induces a type I interferon response leading to CCL5/CXCL10 chemokine secretion. VPS34 inhibitor treatment in combination with STING agonists sensitizes the STING‐dependent proinflammatory cytokine response.

Engineering Mesoscopic 3D Tumor Models with a Self‐Organizing Vascularized Matrix

3D bioprinting and bioengineering approaches are combined to cultivate 3D vascularized tumors, including patient‐derived ones, at the mesoscopic scale. Functional connections between self‐evolved vascular networks and bioprinted endothelium enable the spontaneous migration of cancer cells from tumor spheroids to the fluid flow.
