Method of 128-position quadrature amplitude-polarization manipulation

open access: yesНаучный вестник МГТУ ГА, 2022
The functioning of modern digital communication systems tends to occur in a complex interference environment. The communication system is affected by various types of jamming: both natural noises associated with the conditions of radio waves propagation,

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Equalization and Coding Techniques for Edge Modulation Signaling

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems
This paper describes equalization, coding, and crosstalk reduction techniques for edge modulation signaling. We analyze the inter-symbol interference of edge modulation using enumeration method and present expressions for the error rate from inter-edge ...

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Optical fibre digital pulse-position-modulation assuming a Gaussian received pulse shape [PDF]

open access: yes
The abundance in bandwidth available in the best monomode fibres may be exchanged for improved receiver sensitivity by employing digital PPM. The paper presents a performance and optimisation analysis for a digital PPM coding scheme operating over a ...

A DMD based UV lithography method with improved dynamical modulation range for the fabrication of curved microstructures

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
For the fabrication of curved microstructures, the fabrication fidelity is greatly affected by the nonlinear relationship between the gray levels of the digital micromirror device (DMD) and the exposure dose in DMD gray-scale lithography.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Partial FAK suppression promotes tumor growth, an effect reversed by macrophage p110δ PI3K inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Partial inhibition of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) can paradoxically promote tumor growth, rather than simply producing a weaker antitumor effect than that observed with strong FAK suppression. In breast cancer and melanoma models, targeting p110δ PI3K, particularly in macrophages, counteracted these tumor‐promoting effects, highlighting the importance ...
